SAIL Magazine Announces 2009 Pittman Innovation Awards
 
Boston, MA, January 22, 2009— SAIL’s annual Pittman Innovation Awards recognize the most innovative products in the sailboat market each year. Editor-in-chief Peter Nielsen and his team have awarded only new sailing products for 2009, which appear on page 39 of SAIL’s February 2009 issue and will be featured at SAIL’s Innovation Station during the Strictly Sail Chicago Boat Show, Navy Pier at booth #420: January 29-February 1, 2009.

Tallon Marine wowed the judges once again this year, this time with the revolutionary new RIB Receiver, which can be installed on an inflatable’s buoyancy tubes to secure heavy or fragile items, keeping them off the floor and out of harms way.

The Tallon RIB Receiver is the world's only accessory mount specifically designed for installation into the inflatable tube and features a fully sealed back end for easy factory and after-market installation.

This exciting new product means owners can quickly mount and swap-out accessories and set up their RIB in exactly the same way as a rigid hulled boat for the very first time.  Tallon Marine is currently in talks with RIB manufacturers in the US, Europe and Australasia who are keen to be the first to fit Tallon RIB Receivers as standard in their models.
