Jason splits his time between his work as a full time firefighter in Auckland, New Zealand and his home life in the North Island’s lakeland town of Taupo, where he pursues his passion for boating.

Boating Problem

  • In choppy conditions, conventional cup holders Jason used in the past won’t stay upright. He spends too much time flipping them up.
  • Wine glasses didn’t fit conventional cup holders.
  • Jason is a self-confessed perfectionist and wanted a system that didn’t look big and cumbersome but maintained his boat’s clean lines.
  • Jason used a chilli bin for storing drinks bottles and containers. He wanted to do away with the bin to win space back in his boat.
  • He also wanted a system that was flexible and did more than just hold a drink.
